Here we have a Spalted Poplar Pendant. Spalting refers to the wood being in a stage of decay and it changes the woods color. The log from this came from our partners property in Virginia. It was a cutoff from a Spalted Poplar frame mould. It has green, brown, pink, red and black coloring. There is also a crack filled with black epoxy in this pendant. It comes with a hemp string cord and is easily adjustable to your style.
