Here we have a ~RedOaK~ frame made to hold a 18”x24” poster. The wood used is from our partners backyard and we fell this tree ourselfs and used a sawmill the cut the logs into lumber. On the right side of this frame is a huge knot hole. I used this pc in particular because I thought it was interesting. It’s finished with a Rubio monocoat, color is “pure” so this is the natural color of the wood. The outside Edgework is 1/4” Round and the inside is a 45degree chamfer. All hand Routered and hand sanded.
This frame is one of a kind.
You can see the 1/16” clear spacers used through the hole in the frame. Has framing grade acrylic glass and acid free foamcore backing. Ready to hang on our wall.
