This here is a ~Curly Maple~ frame made to hold a 11"x17" Poster. Scientist don't have a reason why the ~CURLS~ in the wood are formed but they speculate that the tree has been through serve weather and or the tree has had a dramatic life somehow. Never the less this Curly Maple is extremely beautiful. Its 3 dimensional curls change and move when your walking by or moving around the frame. Curls in wood is extremely rare and we are glad we got our hands on this wood from another local sawmiller in our area. The frame comes complete as always with a framing grade acrylic glass, acid free mounting board, spring clips that make poster changing a breeze, and heavy duty wire handware for securing it to your wall via a *drywall anchor not included. The darker marks you see on the frame are sawmill marks that haven't been sanded due to being a staple of our company.
